Job Description:
Job Title: Azure Engineer
Working From Home: Hybrid (Once a week onsite)
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 Depending on experience
Location: M1 1BE (Manchester)
Our Manchester-based client is an SME in the financial sector looking for a skilled Azure Engineer to join their growing IT team,
Responsibilities:
* Proven expertise in working within an Azure environment
* Previous experience as a Azure Engineer or similar profession, (SRE, Platform Engineer, or Cloud Engineer).
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with various IT teams across the business, including infrastructure and development teams.
* Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
* Proficient in using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
* Strong understanding and experience with scripting methodologies, particularly PowerShell
* Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker is highly desirable.
