Location: Solihull, Birmingham
Salary: up to £45k
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Company: Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation based near Solihull, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in management accounting, financial management and strategic planning of the business as well as managing a small transactional finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Month-End Process: Oversee the month-end process ensuring accuracy and completeness, and prepare reports for review.
* Management Accounts: Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts for the group.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial targets are met.
* Audits: Assist in the preparation and coordination of statutory audits and banking facility audits, ensuring all documentation and records are accurate and readily available.
* Systems Management: Take ownership of systems, including the monthly reconciliations to the CRM System, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
* Commission & Sales Reporting: Prepare commission figures for both companies and update the sales leaderboard daily to provide real-time performance information.
* Project Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the FC & CFO on various projects and data analysis tasks, providing financial insights and support to all functional areas of the business.
* Process Automation: Focus on automating processes to reduce the time taken for month-end activities and streamline reporting to support the company’s growth plans.
* Supplier Rebate Tracking: Create and maintain a supplier rebate tracker to ensure accurate accruals and financial forecasting.
* Management: Supporting and Managing the small transactional finance team
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and CRM systems.
* Excellent analytically skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
