Job Description:
Teaching Assistant * Contract Type: Permanent
* Contract Term: Full-Time
* Salary: £19,643.00 Annually (Actual)
* Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only, 5 days per week
* Start Date: 2nd September 2024

About the Role:
* Support teaching staff to help all children achieve their full potential in the school and during external activities.
* Assist with the organization of school trips and events, managing small amounts of cash as needed.
* Gain insight into the needs of vulnerable groups within the school community.
* Plan, deliver, and evaluate learning activities, ensuring readiness with appropriate resources.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of dynamic learning environments.
* Encourage and support the use of technology as an educational tool in the classroom.
Support for Teaching Staff:
* Help prepare for testing and assessments, and support children with additional needs.
* Keep accurate records and discuss the impact of learning activities with the teaching team.
* Communicate with parents under the guidance of teaching staff.
* Assist with classroom management and lead specific educational interventions.
* Potentially act as a key worker for EYFS, including reporting to parents.
* Supervise the class during short periods of teacher absence.

* Experience in supporting teaching and learning within a school setting.
