We are recruiting for a Contracts and Procurement Officer for a large public sector organisation in Leeds. This position offers hybrid working, an excellent pension and the opportunity to join a company which has significant investment and growth plans over the next decade.
To be considered for this position it is desirable that you are working to (or are already) MCIPS or IACCM Qualified and have an understanding of public sector procurement contracts in line with OJEU.
Some of the key responsibilities will include;
* Responsibility for running tender processes in a professional, compliant, and timely manner and working closely with budget holders to ensure that they undertake the same
* Responsible for providing procurement and contract advice, guidance, and oversight across the business with greater emphasis across operational and transactional procurements/contracts
* Support the improvement, integration and maintenance of E-procurement systems ensuring that
they meet organisational requirements

* Support the publication of requirements under the transparency code
