Job Description:
As a Newly Qualified Accountant you will play a crucial role in the finance department, providing essential financial support and ensuring the accuracy of their financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
* Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
* Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors
* Oversee cash flow management and financial transactions
* Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
* Collaborate with project managers to monitor project costs and budgets
* Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
Qualifications and Skills:
* Newly qualified ACA (ICAEW)/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent
* Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to learn and develop
