Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join the finance team of a well-known organisation in Anglesey. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day financial operations across the business and provide reliable financial information to support the management of some diverse income streams
Day to Day of the role:
* Oversee the financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Manage an Assistant Accountant, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Handle VAT matters, including VAT Partial Exemption.
* Conduct inter-company reconciliations and manage other Group activities.
* Produce management accounts for multiple entities and set budgets accordingly.
* Influence decisions, shape strategy, and direct the business by providing financial insights.
* Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cashflows, and perform regular reconciliations.
* Complete VAT returns and prepare year-end working papers.
* Review financial data with the Estate and Finance teams, providing analysis and reports.
* Advise on VAT, property tax, and capital tax matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience within a group company setting.
* Proficient in VAT matters.
* Advanced skills in Excel.
* Familiarity with multiple accounting packages.
* Self-confidence and the ability to influence strategic decisions.
