Rate: £13.94 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, either 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Role Objective:
Join our Planning & Scheduling team at Severn Trent, where you’ll play a crucial role in our Field and Contact Centre operations. As a Customer Service Administrator, you will collaborate with external suppliers, field managers, operatives, local planning authorities, and our customers to ensure timely and accurate field operations throughout our region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Scheduling & Workflow Management: Utilize our corporate planning tool, Click, to prioritize and schedule customer-appointed and proactive tasks for our field technicians and repair crews.
• Liaison: Communicate with customers, highway authorities, and local operational teams to ensure high-quality work compliance with local regulations.
• Customer Communication: Keep customers informed about the status of their work requests and explain necessary steps for work completion to their satisfaction.
• Service Levels & KPIs: Work to service levels that meet both customer expectations and business objectives.
• Process Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and contribute ideas in local meetings and continuous improvement groups.
• Jeopardy Management: Manage and redistribute workflow in real-time as priorities and service levels change to meet customer and business needs.
Experience & Capabilities:
To excel in this role, you should have:
• Strong IT skills across the Microsoft Office suite.
• Customer Service experience.
• The ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in managing customer expectations.
• Experience liaising with external bodies (e.g., Highways authorities, local councils, etc).
• The ability to interpret and analyse complex information.
• Experience working to service levels and individual targets.
Desirable:
• Knowledge and experience with SAP or SWIMM systems (not essential).
