I have been retained by a dynamic and fast-growing Mining business based in central London, to recruit a technically-strong Senior Financial Accountant.

In this newly created role; the Senior Financial Accountant will have a broad remit - with ownership over internal controls, management and financial accounting, and partnering with non-finance colleagues to help deliver on the Group’s strategic growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
* Ensure accounting policies are applied consistently across UK entities
* Collaborate with Group Finance team to ensure processes are adhered to
* Support internal / external audit process
* Support analysis on qualitative spend and accurate financial reporting
* Mentor and support junior members of the team
Key Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA preferred)
* Strong technical skillset
* Experience or an interest in Mining / Resources / similar industry
Package:
* £70-75,000
