Job Description:
iMultiply is delighted to be partnered with a large, international accountancy practice to recruit a Business Adviser for its Outsourcing team.
The Company
The Firm has offices in both Glasgow and Edinburgh and is part of a globally connected network of accountancypractices.
The Role
As a business adviser you will be responsible for the processing of monthly management account information to ensure the timely and efficient reporting both during the month but importantly at month end. You will have responsibility for the production of annual financial statements and management accounts of a number of clients or divisions/sites for our larger clients reporting directly to manager.

Your main responsibilities will be:
*Processing and preparation of annual financial statements for manager review for a portfolios of clients/sites
*Processing and preparation of month end management accounts for manager review for a portfolios of clients/sites
*Journal posting
*Revenue file uploads
*Processing of invoices on BancTec or similar software
*Preparation of bank recs
*Preparation of VAT returns
*Calculation and posting of prepayments with supporting information
*Posting of accruals with supporting information
*Preparation of profit share payments
*Maintain fixed asset register- processing invoices, calculating and posting depreciation journals
*Preparation of mid month client packs and dealing with any queries directly with the client
In this busy and rewarding role you’ll also:
*Act as the first point of contact for client queries
*Work efficiently and as part of a team to deliver work on a timely basis and to the required standard
*Ensure all team needs are met in regards to answering queries promptly
*Updates the manager regularly with progress reports
