Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant with good excel skills who thrives in a busy, dynamic environment?
Seymour John are delighted to be supporting a well-established, growing company with a strong customer base locally, nationally and internationally, who are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join their small, friendly finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for both sides of the ledger across a number of UK based sites. The role offers a varied workload where you be able to demonstrate your ability to multitask and prioritise your work effectively. You will possess excellent communication skills that will allow to liaise with other departments across the organisation.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
* Bank Processing (Receipts and Payments)
* Credit Card transaction reconciliations and posting
* Sales Order Processing
* Management of the accounts inbox - dealing with queries effectively
* New Customer Accounts - credit checks and opening of accounts
* Assisting with Month End tasks
* Support the Finance Team in ad hoc tasks as required.
About you:
* At least 2 years in a similar role.
* Excellent negotiation skills.
* Strong excel skills
* Good team player who is flexible to help others.
