An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Commercial Manager to join a world-leading supplier with a rich heritage and a clear focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the technical capabilities of the new products and will be expected to work closely on future product developments.

What you’ll do:
As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client’s growth strategy. You will take responsibility for integrating New Product Introduction (NPI) into their commercial strategy, contributing to marketing strategies that increase awareness of NPI among relevant customer groups. Your role will involve identifying and securing new customer or distributor acquisition targets, formulating strategies to develop profitable sales, and maximising the benefits of the NPI portfolio. You will also liaise with distributors/customers, assisting them in selecting NPI based on commercial and technical aspects while fostering mutually beneficial working relationships.
Take ownership for forecasting New Product Introduction (NPI) into their commercial strategy
Contribute to marketing strategies that drive awareness of NPI among relevant customer groups
Develop and secure new customer or distributor acquisition targets
Determine strategies to develop profitable sales, and maximise the benefits of the NPI portfolio
Liaise with distributors/customers, helping them select NPI based on commercial and technical aspects while maintaining mutually beneficial working relationships
What you bring:
The ideal Commercial Manager will bring a high-achieving career in business development, with a proven ability to exceed revenue and margin targets. High-achieving Business Development career with demonstrable ability to hit and exceed revenue and margin targets
Imaginative and capable of driving sustainable cash generative sales for NPI products
Able to communicate professionally and develop strategic relationships within a client base
Commercially intelligent, curious and progressive
Experience of strategic, solution-based sales in a technically led industry (12-18 month) sales cycle
Demonstrated ability to find and lead process changes that are quantifiable, impactful and benefit business progress and growth
