Job Title: IT Manager
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
We are a recruitment agency looking for an experienced IT Manager to join a solicitors firm in Nottingham. This role will involve managing the IT systems and infrastructure of the firm, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and support. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all systems run smoothly, developing strategies for system security and reliability, and staying up to date on the latest technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the IT sector, with a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role. They will need to be highly organised and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing technical support and guidance to staff
* Maintaining a secure network environment
* Ensuring all systems are up to date
* Developing and implementing IT strategies
* Installing and configuring hardware and software
* Investigating and resolving technical issues
* Keeping up to date with the latest technologies
Technical Skills Required:
* Experience of managing IT systems in a solicitors firm
* Knowledge of Windows Server, Office 365, Cyber Security, Azure, and Networking
* Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions
* Experience in network security
* Experience in virtualisation
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Experience with scripting languages
