Job Title: Commercial and Technical Estimator
Location: Cheslyn Hay, Walsall
Are you great with numbers and have a knack for interpreting technical details? Were looking for a Commercial and Technical Estimator to handle pricing calculations for new RFQs and current assemblies.
What You’ll Do:
* Price Calculations: Review, interpret, and calculate pricing based on customer BoM and schematics.
* Maintain Databases: Keep our supplier and product type databases up to date for RFQs.
* Track Progress: Monitor and execute the quotation tracker, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
* Collaborate: Work closely with support functions and the NPI team to deliver top-notch internal customer service.
What We Expect:
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Experience: Proven track record in commercial estimating within an electrical manufacturing environment.
* Attention to Detail: Competent in creating and interpreting detailed customer BoMs and electrical schematics.
* Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple tenders of varying complexity.
