Job Title: Administration Assistant
Location: Winchester
Contract Type: Part time
Salary: £11.98 per hour
About the Role
A key role, providing administrative support for the Waste and Resources Team. The post holder will be required to be approachable and work flexibly, be committed to providing excellent customer service and be confident and proactive.
What is the day-to-day of the role:
* Majority of this role will be answering routine enquiries via a bespoke system, email, phone and in person (for internal staff), and refer complex queries appropriately
· Being a key point of contact, supporting a team that works flexibly and may not be office-based
· Maintaining databases and document management
· Undertake other administrative and office based tasks as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Formal training e.g. GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
· Previous administration experience
· Computer literate in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel etc)
· Effective communication skills both written and verbal
· An excellent team player with a flexible approach
· Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work effectively
· Ability to work under own initiative
