Payroll and Pensions Officer| £32,000 - £35,000 | Permanent | Manchester| Hybrid:

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public-sector organisation in Manchester who are looking to recruit a Pensions Officer to their team on a permanent basis. The role offers hybrid working, flexi-time, generous annual leave and other great benefits. 
Duties:

* Provide specialised pension service including deductions and payments of pensions contributions
* To support the Payroll and Pensions manager as the organisation is growing 
* Support with monthly and annual pensions reports 
* Provide excellent Pensions knowledge and be the first point of contact for all pensions queries 
* Process starters, leavers and year end administration 
* Support on a range of projects 
* Provide support to the wider finance team and communicate standard pension scheme information
Experience:

* Previous experience working as a pensions officer or in a payroll position heavily involved with pensions 
* Understanding of pension auto enrolment legislation 
* Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills 
* Strong knowledge of pensions and payroll 
* Great excel skills 
* Proactive approach to work and able to learn new tasks quickly
