Recruitment and Engagement Officer
Hybrid in Manchester
FTC Maternity Leave Full Time 37.5 hours per week
£26838 and amazing benefits including CPD, support, progression, 25p per mile business travel, pro rata holidays - 34 days holiday inc bank holidays plus 3 days holiday for Christmas closure, 1 days paid volunteering activities, increasing to 43 days on completion of 5 years service, birthday off, Free eye test and a £40 contribution towards glasses/lenses once a year. Subsidised restaurant facilities on selected Manchester sites

You role as recruitment and engagement officer will be to liaise and network with mainly DWP/Job centres/stakeholders/partner organisations/referral agencies to create pipelines of applicants for opportunities.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders and applicants including conducting sales / marketing presentations (face-to-face and virtual open evenings, exhibitions, branch activities, etc.)
• Establish and maintain working relationships with the stakeholders and applicants, providing advice and support.
• Be able to match appropriate products to clients’ requirements.
• Provide information, advice, guidance and support to applicants about Classroom based learning opportunities, Work based learning and other opportunities.
The Learner Recruitment and Engagement Officer will be establishing and maintaining relationships with applicants, providing information, advice and support from application through to successful enrolment onto a wide range of Work based learning/Classroom based learning opportunities and other courses. This this role is designed to identify pathways to help learners build skills, experience, understanding and hopefully a permanent job. You will need to be passionate about education and opportunities to get people into work. This role will require broad engagement with Local authorities; job centres and employers to utilise the funding available in supporting people onto courses and into employment.
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues
Ability to communicate effectively with young people and those who influence them - parents, teachers etc
Adaptable and ability to work on own initiative
