Role: Job Coach

Salary: £24,500 - £26,500

Eden Brown are recruiting for an enthusiastic Job Coach to work for a Training Provider providing training to Adult students who are already employed or preparing to enter into their chosen profession.

This is a full time permanent position to start asap working with learners on an individual and group basis and support them with the transition into successful employment, working with local, regional and national employers.

We are looking for a Job Coach who is extremely well organised and is able to manage a caseload of learners, supporting a cohort of people with specific and individual barriers to work.

The role requires someone who is tenacious, target / outcome driven and enthusiastic in pursuit of new job opportunities. You should feel as comfortable in the classroom as you do the boardroom, meeting with local employers and matching vacancies to our learners.

You will work closely with the Business Development Executive, sharing employer details and engaging employers to participate in future Sector-based Work Academy Programmes. Working with the unemployed, within the community can be challenging, but the rewards make the effort worthwhile you really will change lives.

This role is homebased with travel needed as and when required.

Candidates must:

- Have 2 years’ experience, working with the unemployed in a job coach capacity
- Hold a Level 2 qualifications or higher (Level 2 English & Maths, or willingness to work towards)
- Have Evidence of CPD updating

Desirable experience to include

- Experience of working within the Welfare to work sector, helping the unemployed prepare for work
- Teaching or tutoring experience
- IAG qualification
- Experience of working with government funded contracts

Candidates must also have a current DBS, if you do not have one Eden Brown can get one on your behalf
