This is a brand new role to head up the Supply Chain function and build a team as the role progresses. The role holder will be responsible for all aspects of logistics, order processing, inventory management, customer services and forecasting. You must be competent with working with large data sets on Excel and be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager:
Key Responsibilities:
* Transformation: Bring order to the supply chain department, improve productivity transparency, accountability and reporting.

* Bill of Materials Management: Oversee the BOM processes, ensuring accurate purchasing of components from various factories in Europe. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.

* Purchasing and Inventory Management: Manage the procurement of final products and ensure the correct quantities are delivered to our warehouses in the UK, Europe, and the US. Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand.

* Forecasting: Develop and run accurate forecasting processes to predict demand and plan inventory needs. Adjust strategies based on market trends and sales performance.

* Order Processing: Supervise the processing of orders from stores, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Address and resolve any issues related to order discrepancies or delays.

* Customer Service Queries: Handle queries from customer service related to supply chain and order fulfillment. Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

* Reporting and Control Processes: Create and manage reporting systems to track supply chain performance, productivity, and waste. Develop and implement control processes to drive continuous improvement.

* Productivity and Waste Reduction: Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making.
