Area Manager / General Manager – Sports Coaching Company

This is an unusual and rare role, which suits a self-starter, highly motivated business manager who has had some exposure with start-up companies or start-up operations.

A key skill we require is the ability to develop, implement policies, procedures and strategies from scratch. 3 to 6 months later being an active leader developing and delivering a proven franchise frame.
* Full time
* Mix of Office and Home Working
* Location: HQ Blackburn / Franchisee Network will stretch UK wide
* Ideal location is Northwest or North Yorkshire / West Yorkshire
* Salary: Circa £45’000 / £50’000 + bonus with growth

Through demand we have created a brand-new role Area Manager / General Manager that will deliver structure to the business to enable the company to grow with a profitable franchise network.

Area Manager / General Manager – Sports Coaching Company - Role
* You will be responsible for creating, implementing and delivering strategy, policies, procedures, operating manuals and business structure.
* Working closely with an existing Franchisee you will ’get under the skin of the operation’ to understand successes and failures with the aim to support the business deliver a working and profitable franchisee network.
* Promote a positive culture ensuring you deliver the business strategy of the brand.
* Support, commercially lead and develop a growing team.
* Develop operational challenges whilst helping to identify market trends and competitor activity.

* You will have held a senior role within a business that has been exposed to development and growth.
* You must have a highly motivational personality, natural above and beyond, with the natural ability to make every opportunity enjoyable and commercial.
* Proven ability to lead, inspire, collaborate and influence.
* We are open to wide variety of (Retail/ Hospitality/ Logistics/ Distribution/ Sales / Manufacturing). Commerciality is essential.
* Exposure and understanding to drive results to deliver increased turnover and profitability.
* P&L exposure.
* You will have a fun, positive, confident, outgoing personality, feeling comfortable to influence business challenges and change.
* Strong commercial acumen.
* Ambitious. Driven. Innovative.
* An excellent communicator.
* Be passionate about helping and developing young people.
* Be motivated and have a positive, can-do mind set.
* The ability to drive with own car.
