Our client a leading food wholesaler and distribution business based in Northamptonshire, have a requirement for a Senior Management Accountant to join their business. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a forward-thinking food business with an outstanding reputation.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following
* Debtor Analysis.
* Authorise payments.
* Weekly Result production, including top customers, product information and summary.
* Produce weekly estimated results / Commodity report.
* Inter depot payments (reconcile P/L to S/L)
* Run various query reports.
* Analysis on weekly accounts
* Review P/L entries and Currency Revaluations
* Updated standing journals – Review and amend where necessary.
* Reconciliations – Cost Suspense a/cs
* Check Debtors/Creditors Est purchases.
* Control Account Reconciliations
* Reconcile inter-companies and settle balances internally.
* Produce and distribute monthly estimated results.
* Liaise with auditors.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of £55,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience).
