Graduate Tax Trainee - Guildford
Our client is a growing international advisory firm. They currently have a superb career opportunity for ambitious Graduate (with a 2.1 or First Class Degree) to commence a career within Tax.
You will be joining a highly professional, supportive and dynamic team environment and commence training immediately to become a fully qualified Chartered Tax Accountant. This is a challenging and varied role, and the firm offer fantastic career prospects and a detailed and professional training programme.
Reporting to senior management, the main duties include:
* Completion of UK and some international Self Assessment tax returns
* Completion of HMRC forms
* Assisting managers with tax planning for individual clients on investments, pensions, capital gains and allowances
* Assisting managers with corporate client’s employer tax issues
* Assisting with tax administration and compliance.
* Dealing with HMRC related client tax affairs such as tax coding and payment notices
* Involvement in all aspects of the clients tax affairs to become their first point of contact, responsibility for the compliance cycle and working towards the filing deadlines.
* Preserve and build on relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
* Assist senior members of staff in winning new work by proactively identifying new opportunities and assisting with client proposals
The firm uses modern IT systems and has an impressive international client base.
You must be motivated to maximise your full potential through studying ATT and then CTA. You will be well organised, have an eye for detail and be committed to a career in Tax.
