Cedar are supporting a Public Sector client, based in Central London, who are looking to hire an Interim Commercial Manager to support requirements within Capital Projects. This role is due to commence in October 2024 and will run on an initial 6 month contract (potential to extend for additional 18 months) and is offering a day rate from £500 up to £585 (OUTSIDE IR35). This role will operate on a hybrid basis with the expectations to be in the office on a 2-3 day per week arrangement.
The successful candidate will work with the Senior Sourcing Manager/s to develop and procure a Design & Build Contractor, Highways/Structures Projects and Multiple Step-Free Upgrade Projects. You will be required to plan, deliver and manage all end to end procurement activities to deliver contracts and frameworks in compliance with Public Sector Procurement Regulations.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
* Strong and consistent background working in a similar role in the UK Public Sector marketplace
* Strong background running end-to-end procurements which are compliant with PCR2015
* Hands on experience using NEC3 suite of contracts to procure for Professional Services and/or Engineering & Construction Contracts
