A well-established and growing Finance firm are looking to hire an experienced Management Accountant reporting directly to the Financial Director.
Person Specification
* Qualified Accountant
* ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
* Experience producing monthly management accounts
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables),
Key Responsibilities:
Month End/Year End
* Producing accurate monthly management accounts, including full commentary for a Group of entities.
* Responsible for the month end cycle including conducting full balance sheet reconciliation including journals, pre- payments, accruals, investments and updating fixed asset registers.
* Producing accurate monthly forecasts and annual budgets in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team.
* Producing detailed Management Information Reports and Finance Packs.
* Liaising with external auditors and answering all queries.
* Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
Tax
* Preparing Group UK VAT return and submitting to HMRC, liaising with HMRC to resolve VAT issues.
* P11D and PSA reporting.
Bank
* Daily cash flow reports.
* Managing payment runs on a fortnightly basis.
* Monthly Cashflow Reporting, Analysis and Forecasting.
Receivables
* Ensure all clients are invoiced in due time.
* Cash collection.
Payables
* Managing fortnightly payment runs.
* Managing monthly expense claims, including company credit cards.
