Sales Executive/Business Development Manager - EdTech/SaaS
Salary: £35,000 Basic with uncapped commission OTE £75,000 (TBC)
Location: Remote with regular office visits to Sheffield or Guildford
Our client develops innovative technology to support educational organisations in enhancing their people strategy, organisational improvement, and professional growth through their SaaS platform. Following recent investment from one of the most prominent professional development providers in the education sector, they are poised for ambitious growth and looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to join the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a business at the start of a growth journey.
Role Overview
In this role, you will generate new business opportunities and drive our client’s growth targets by engaging with key school decision-makers, understanding their needs, and promoting SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet and exceed sales targets

* Conduct outreach and daily calls to build a robust sales pipeline
* Research and identify new business opportunities and markets
* Build and maintain relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs
* Deliver engaging online platform demonstrations and presentation
* Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
* Attend events, conferences, and exhibitions as required
Experience and Skills
* Proven success in a new business sales role, preferably in the Education or SaaS sectors
* Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to influence diverse customer needs
* Proficiency in the full sales cycle, including lead identification and evaluation
* Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and achieve goals
* Experience in consultative sales
