Senior Finance Business Partner (R2R) 12 month FTC
Altum Consulting are recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner (R2R) to join a successful Manchester based Media business. Reporting into the Head of Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for driving performance improvements in the end-to-end record to report process in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and scalability. This role is for an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
You will identify, direct and programme manage improvement initiatives focused on driving best practice adoption through simplification, standardisation and automation of the Record to Report process.
Role:
* Working collaboratively with the Finance Reporting, Commercial Finance and Group Finance teams to develop a prioritised pipeline of transformational and improvement initiatives
* Develop business cases for key initiatives to secure funding and approval?.
* Develop project initiation documents, to clearly define scope, deliverables, resourcing needs and planning?.
* Direct and programme manage projects delivery (supported by Project Managers as needed) - ensuring that robust project management disciplines and governance are in place?.
* Continuously benchmark internal processes against best practices to determine gaps, opportunities for improvement, and alignment with commercial design requirements.?
* Conducting regular reviews of process performance metrics with key process stakeholders and establishing action plans to address sub-standard performance.
You’ll be/have:
* Qualified accountant (ICAEW or CIMA)?
* Post qualification experience in a similar or related role ?
* Deep understanding of best practice and what good looks like, and ability to challenge and influence colleagues to embrace improvement opportunities and associated change?
* Available immediately/short notice period
