How does the role look?
You will play a crucial role in an organisation’s financial health by providing detailed financial and operational information to managers. Take a peek at the key duties and responsibilities:
* Budgeting and Forecasting - Prepare and manage budgets, develop financial forecasts and projections and analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures.
* Financial Reporting - Generate internal financial reports for management, prepare detailed analysis and summaries of financial data and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Cost Analysis - Conduct cost-benefit analysis through analysing cost structures and performance.
* Financial Planning and Strategy - Assist Senior Management in the development of long-term financial strategies.
* Risk Management - Identify and assess financial risks by developing risk mitigation strategies and monitoring and managing financial risks.
* Financial Decision Support - Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
* Capital Budgeting - Evaluate capital investment opportunities.
* Inventory Management - Oversee inventory accounting and valuation.
* Stakeholder communication
* Supporting the Financial Controller with adhoc projects to suit the business
