Key Responsibilities:
* Arrange shipments according to customer instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or quotations.
* Open job files and arrange collections as per customer requirements.
* Book all shipments with the airline.
* Ensure secure cargo tie-ups and coordinate handover to transport.
* Complete Master Air Waybills (MAWBs) for IATA, B2B, and consolidations.
* Pre-alert customers and network partners about shipments.
* Complete customs entries in compliance with HMRC regulations.
* Liaise with airlines and handling agents.
* Manage a shared mailbox efficiently.
* Resolve queries promptly to ensure timely shipment uplift.
* Follow customer SOPs meticulously.
* Arrange air import shipments.
* Possess knowledge of air import customs (advantageous).
* Handle operational finance, including costing and invoicing.
* Maintain a flexible and adaptive approach to work.
* Maintain a customer-focused attitude at all times.
* Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the reporting superior.
Requirements:
* Experience in air freight coordination or a similar role.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures (advantageous).
* Proficiency in operational finance tasks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
