Maths Teacher
Location: Derbyshire, DE55
Daily Pay: £150 - £240
Days: 5 Days, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Hours: 8:15am - 3:30pm
Start Date: September 2024

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons to both KS3 and KS4
* Differentiating lesson content to meet a wide range of students needs and abilities
* Delivering KS4 examination content in line with the school examination board
* Assessing children’s work against the school’s assessment framework
* Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children with special educational needs
* Attending weekly department meetings to help drive forward the schools attainment levels
* Being involved with the school pastoral system, taking ownership of a form/tutor group and delivering the schools pastoral curriculum
Candidate Requirements:
* Holds qualified teacher status (ECTs Welcome)
* Is confident teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 curriculum (KS5 not essential)
* Has excellent classroom control and behaviour management strategies
* Is passionate about teaching and keen to ensure that students make continued progress
* Is a good team player and willing to work cohesively with the departmental and pastoral team
