An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growth e-commerce cosmetics company. To be part of one of the leaders with over 7000 products online. This very clever company is all about the customer, feedback, trends and the newest products quickest on the market to work with. As an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will play a really crucial part in the Finance Team, the main purpose of the role of AP Ledger Supervisor will be to support the Head of Finance in the day to day management & running of the AP Ledger function, including stock and non-stock.
To succeed within this role, you will have obtained previous experience surrounding all functions of AP Ledger so you can offer advice, guide and implement appropriate controls within the team. As the AP Supervisor should be detail orientated, methodical and hands on in their approach.
Key Responsibilities:
2 AP reports
* Liaise with numerous teams across the business to ensure no bottlenecks arise within the AP invoice/payment processing function of Finance.
* Ensure all purchase invoices (both stock and non-stock) are processed by the AP team in a timely manner, assisting the team with any queries or anomalies as required.
* Debit Note processing as required.
* Trade Facility payment processing and management/reconciliation.
* Oversee New Supplier process to ensure being adhered to.
* Own brand item charge assignment.
* Create weekly payment proposals for review and agreement with Head of Finance.
* Review processes regularly around AP to ensure tasks being performed in the most efficient way.
* Sign off QC and GRNI movements, ensuring GRNI is reviewed daily by the team.
* Check all AP Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure: * They balance
* No suspicious transactions exist
* The postings are consistent with the transactions in that GL
* It is kept as tidy as possible

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:
* Online/E-Commerce Retail experience advantageous.
* Continuous improvement mentality is essential.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
* Excellent working knowledge of VAT & VLOOKUPS
* Previous experience within a similar level role is essential.
* Experience of implementing and maintaining controls is essential.
* Experience of leading, managing & developing a team is essential.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* A positive team-player with a can-do attitude & self-motivation.
* Passion and enthusiasm for working within Retail & Finance.
* Ability to be flexible and adaptable to ever changing business priorities.
