Live-in Housekeeper Wanted in Bromley
Location: Bromley BR1
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 GPA
Role Details: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable live-in housekeeper for a lovely family home in Bromley. This is a new role and an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic household with varied responsibilities.
Work Schedule:
* 5 days a week, Sometimes to include weekends
* 2 consecutive days off during the week
* 8-10 hours a day with breaks
Responsibilities:
* Housekeeping: General cleaning and upkeep of a 5-bedroom house
* Laundry and Ironing: Ensuring clothes and linens are clean and ironed
* Light Cooking: Preparing simple meals on occasion, such as salads, roast chicken etc
* Grocery Shopping: Managing online orders through Ocado and performing local top-up shops, with assistance from the nanny
* Companionship for Elderly Father: Providing companionship, making tea, and keeping an eye on the principals father who also lives at the house.
* Driving: A driver’s license is a big bonus, though not essential
Family Structure:
* Employer: A busy professional woman who travels frequently and runs her own business
* Children: Three children (1 school ages, 2 adults)
* No pets
Accommodation:
* Private accommodation on the top floor including a bedroom, bathroom, and small living space
Qualifications:
* Prior experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role
* Warm, caring, and responsible, especially in providing companionship to an elderly individual
* Good organisational skills and ability to work independently
* Flexible and adaptable to the family’s needs
