Job Title: Project Manager - Construction
Location: Warwick/ Hybrid - 1 to 2 days per week on-site
Duration: 12 Months (Scope for up to 4 years!)
Daily Rate: Circa* £850 via Umbrella (or PAYE option available with bonus and additional benefits)

Objective
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the third-party design and construction of a new head office and tier 4 critical control room, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Planning & Design Coordination * Lead the planning process, establishing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
* Set up a full client-facing design team capable of translating client requirements into actionable plans while ensuring seamless communication and integration with the broader project objectives.
* Coordinate with third-party architects and designers to ensure that plans meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for building tier 4 critical control rooms.

* Construction Oversight * Supervise the construction process to ensure adherence to designs and specifications.
* Manage any necessary bidding processes for sub-contractors and suppliers and oversee their work.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety standards.

Skills and Qualifications Required
* Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
* Proven track record in managing design and construction of high-value office buildings, with experience in critical control room environments being highly desirable.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
* Robust understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
* PMP,PRINCE2,orequivalent project management certification preferred.
* Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera or equivalent.
* Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
Reporting Structure
The Project Manager will report directly to the Head of Property or equivalent senior position within the organisation.
