Title: Shift Environmental Monitoring Scientist

Location: Macclesfield

Our client is looking for Shift Environmental Monitoring Scientists to join an international life sciences company.

Responsibilities:
* Aseptically collect Environmental Monitoring (EM) and cleaning validation samples at client’s facility
* Ensure compliance with GMP policies
* Aseptically gown and work in sterile manufacturing areas
* Perform routine and non-routine QC testing such as Bioburden, Endotoxin, Concentration, and Conductivity
* Maintain and ensure sample chain of custody using a LIMS system
* Review manufacturing schedule for dynamic environmental monitoring to ensure all samples are collected appropriately
* Perform laboratory and equipment maintenance
* Calculate, evaluate, review, and properly communicate data verbally and in written format
* To participate in the preparation of reports.
* To have a clear understanding of the client relationship and service goals.


Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry or Microbiology or related).
* Experience in a pharmaceutical industry GMP laboratory.
