Job Description:
About The Role
Working as a member of the cleaning team to clean and maintain the building and fabrics to OCS cleaning standards. This includes but not exclusive to: Washrooms/toilets, restrooms, general office/desks, meeting rooms, vacuuming, hard floors, canteen, waste management, kitchenettes, and general building areas. Ad-hoc duties as required by manager/supervisor.
You will be working Monday to Thursday, 20:00 to 06:00, 38 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.
Shift Times/Hours Negotiable.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:
* Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest OCS standards at all times
* Maintain H&S policies and procedures
* Carry out all schedules and tasks as per OCS training
* Carry out all schedules and tasks safely as per induction, RAMS and SSOW
* Ensure products are used and stored safely as per COSHH training
* Use and maintain all operational equipment/machinery safely and with care. Report any equipment faults
* Liaise with manager/supervisor to report any faults, near misses or equipment damage
* Respond and complete tasks to agreed time scales and schedules
* Ensure full issued uniform is worn clean and tidy at all times
* Deal with customers and colleagues with politeness and respect
* At no time should personal phones be used for personal use while on duty
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a cleaning role desired but not essential
* Must have a proactive "Can Do" attitude and ability to work within a team. Team player and flexibility to adapt role requirements. Bringing own ideas and suggestions to improve/elevate the operation is always welcomed.
