Job Description:
Operations Coordinator
Location: Glinton, Peterborough
Our client, a leading national supplier of electrical, fire safety, and security services for the Social Housing sector, is seeking Operations Coordinators to join their dynamic team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative and planning support to the Operational team of engineers across the UK.
Responsibilities:
* Efficiently schedule engineers to cover reactive and servicing jobs through established booking processes and a job management system.
* Ensure that allocated jobs are completed and the scheduling process is properly closed out.
* Escalate any scheduling issues or concerns to the Team Leader for resolution.
* Support the contract with administrative tasks such as billing and maintaining accurate records in the job management system.
Key Relationships:
* Contract Manager, Team Leader, and service engineers.
* Operations, Business Services, Commercial, and Finance departments.
* New and existing customers.
Key Skills:
* Solid understanding of planning systems to schedule engineers efficiently.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* NVQ level 2 or 3 in Business and Administration preferred.
* Experience in planning/scheduling and effective administrative processes.

This is a temporary position with a contract length of 3 months. The hourly rate starts from £12.82, and a driving licence is required. Full-time availability is necessary.
