Job Description:
We are looking for a Head of Sales to join a fantastic technology distributor based in Romsey. The company has 35 staff and has a strong growth record. You will be responsible for managing the sales team, developing sales strategies and achieving sales targets for the business.
Much of the opportunity will be within sophisticated key account management as the company already has strong presence in the market already, as well as efforts to win new business, likely an 80/20 split.
The Role
Key responsibilities for this Head of Sales position are:
* Leading by example, managing key accounts, handling commercial queries and engaging with customers
* Managing a sales team to continued high performance and personal growth
* Develop the sales strategies to achieve the company objectives and targets, and roll that down through the team
* Identify new business opportunity as well as managing key accounts
* Maintain the strong relationships that are already in place with suppliers and key accounts
* Do some of the commercial work alongside the Head of Finance, reviewing large quotes, sales agreements etc
* Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts. This role reports directly to CEO.
The Ideal Candidate
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced b2b product sales professional in a fast paced, progressive environment. It will suit a dynamic, ambitious person who is able to demonstrate strong all round skills, of course including the leadership and communication skills you would expect and a healthy capability to problem solve and analyse.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced supply chain professional who has previous experience in a similar role. You will take ownership for the supply chain process and be confident managing supplier relationships. You will need to have proven negotiation skills as well as the ability to build relationships. Strong planning and analytical skills are essential so you must be an advanced Excel user.

Salary is pitched at £60k plus opportunity to earn up to £30k in bonus, plus car allowance.
