Are you a highly motivated individual ready to take on a dynamic role in a growing company? Our client is looking for an energetic Purchasing and Spare Parts Manager to revamp and lead their purchasing and spare parts operations.

Job Description: As the Purchasing and Spare Parts Manager, you’ll oversee the management of service engineers and external customers with spare parts, process industrial equipment bills of materials, and ensure effective stock control. This is a fast-paced role that requires a proactive approach to sourcing and purchasing parts, managing inventory, and developing relationships with suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities: * Source and purchase parts ranging from low-value items to high-cost components
* Manage inventory for traceability and stock control
* Issue parts or kits to engineers and external customers
* Maintain and update Bills of Materials for machinery and sub-assemblies
* Collaborate with the service team for parts issuance for site services, breakdowns, and workshop builds
* Implement and develop new management systems for parts stock management
Key Skills and Experience: * Proficiency with Sage or similar accounting systems and office applications like Excel
* Strong purchasing and sales capabilities with a focus on relationship-building
* Experience in parts stock management and system implementation
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Technical understanding of machinery, with training provided
* Background in the industrial hydraulics or pneumatics industry is preferred
* Primarily office-based, with occasional travel to customer and supplier sites
Work Schedule: * Full-time, permanent position
* Monday to Friday, day shift
* No weekend work required
