Role: 2nd/3rd Line Support (Azure)
Location: Mansfield (1-2 Days In-Office Per Week)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Benefits: 5% Bonus, 10% Pension, Healthcare
We are looking for an exceptional 2nd/3rd Line Support engineer to join a dynamic, cloud-first, insurance company. The company is a small yet highly innovative member of a larger financial services group, with a cloud-first philosophy. They are at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge technologies within the insurance sector, offering a dynamic work environment.
This integral role is great for someone who has the fundamental understanding and exposure to Azure and is looking for that next role to develop in a pretty-much 100% cloud environment. This is a hybrid role where you will be in the office 1-2 days a week.
The Role
The successful candidate will have competent experience at 2nd/3rd line in a Microsoft House, exceptional experience supporting the Microsoft 365 suite of products, as well as solid fundamental exposure to Azure including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
You will work closely with the IT Manager to assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of their cloud-solutions to provide a high performing and efficient environment. Being a majority cloud environment, you will also ensure security and availability of said environment functions to the highest standards.
This role would suit someone who has an active interest in, has recent and relevant exposure to, and keeps up to date with Azure.
Experience
We are looking for a fantastic 2nd/3rd Line Engineer, someone with competent experience in a dynamic environment with recent, relevant exposure to Azure. A suitable candidate for this role will have the following qualities.
* 4-5 years’ experience as a 2nd/3rd Line Engineer with a focus on the Azure technical suite.
* Experience with deployment, management and troubleshooting of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
* Great understanding of Azure networking principles and cloud security best practices and standards.
* Any experience designing and implementing Azure solutions isn’t mandatory but is desirable.
* Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) is also a plus.
* Happy to get involved in all other areas of IT.
