Description
* Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
* Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of all materials and components.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
* Work closely with the production team to ensure quality standards are maintained.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process.
* Handle any issues or discrepancies with suppliers effectively.
* Prepare and present quality reports to management.
* Stay up-to-date with relevant industry quality standards and regulations.
Profile
A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:
* A degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
* Good knowledge of welding and fabrication.
* Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives.
* Good understanding of industrial manufacturing processes.
