Job Description:
Robert Half has partnered with a global manufacturing business based in Worksop to recruit a Group Management Accountant. This role will report to the Group Financial Controller. For the right candidate, this role offers:
£40,000 - £45,000 + hybrid working of 3 days in the office and two days from home
Duties:
* Manage cashbooks, purchase ledgers, sales ledgers, and accounts payable/receivable for parent company
* Process month-end journals
* Prepare forecasts and produce management accounts
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist in the production of consolidated group accounts.
* Support Management Information Systems (MIS) tasks as required for the group.
* Assist with various finance functions, including insurance, VAT, and customs entries.
* Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and general ledger reconciliations.
* Perform routine accounting activities.
* Ensure compliance with group policies.
* Liaise with local auditors regarding statutory accounts and other related matters.
* Maintain safe working practices at all times.
* Undertake any other reasonable tasks within your capabilities and training to meet business requirements.
Requirements:
* Experience in preparing management accounts
* Experience with inter-company transactions preferred
* Proficiency with SAP
