Role: Management Accountant
Location: Folkestone
Salary: £45-50k

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic management accountant to join our small and friendly accounts team at our office in Folkestone.

You will support the Head of Finance and lead the finance team with all aspects of financial controls and management reporting. There is a lot of scope to develop this role as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities include;
* Assisting with budgetary control and reporting.
* Creating monthly management accounts and cashflow forecasting.
* Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and controls.
* Overseeing payroll processing for 200+ employees across all the services and ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE liability and Pension regulations.
* Sales invoicing and following up queries with funders.
* Managing purchasing, invoice processing, approval and payment across all our services.
* Processing credit card statements and petty cash.
* Taking ownership of queries and following these through to resolution.
* Sales invoicing and following up queries with funders.
* Preparation of VAT returns.

Person Specification;
* Qualified accountant with 5 years’ experience. Knowledge of SAGE Line 50 would be advantageous.
* You are strong and analytical with good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify errors and discrepancies with a keen attention to detail.
* You are ready for a new challenge and will enjoy working as part of a small supportive team. You are approachable with a friendly manner.
* You are flexible so you can meet the demands of the role.
* You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
* You have advanced knowledge of and a lot of experience working with Microsoft packages including Excel and Word.
