A Financial Analyst is being recruited for a regulated financial services business in the Wimborne area. The business is has been established for many years and has created a excellent working culture where staff turnover is very low.

Working closely with the Head of Finance and Management Accountant, you would have responsibility for provision of management and financial information along with assisting in the production of financial reporting information for statutory accounts.

Specific duties:
* Preparing monthly management information to deadline
* Comparison of monthly performance against budget and liaising with budget
* owners regarding variances.
* Monitor ratios and KPIs
* Assisting in the preparation of financial risk policy and long term corporate
* planning.
* Undertaking financial project work as required
* Assisting with daily reporting, reconciliations, ledgers and budgets
* Providing support to the company’s treasury function
* Ad hoc analysis to support the business.

You will need to be part qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and actively progressing towards qualification and possess strong Excel and proven analytical skills gained in a similar role.

In addition, a strong eye for detail and interpersonal skills are also essential. Some treasury and financial services experience would be desirable but is not essential although the willingness to learn aspects of this regulated environment is essential.
