Job Description:
This is an incredible opportunity to work within a local community programme ran by a North East FE College
This department was recently graded ’Outstanding’ by Ofsted, so this is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-ran organisation with a good reputation.
In this role you will deliver training to adults, learners will vary from unemployed or low income earners looking to upskill or get back into employment. The purpose of this department is to meet skill gaps in the local area.
Primarily you will work on-site at the college however, distance learning is offered to learners so some remote working may be possible.
In this role you will deliver training and/or tutoring for General Construction this could include any of the following: Bricklaying, Plastering, Dry-Lining, Tiling, Plumbing, Health & Safety, Cladding, Groundworks, Basic Retrofit and Joinery.
Don’t worry if you’re not an expert in all of these trades, but you should come from at least one of them and have some general knowledge in one or more other trades.
Requirements
You will hold a relevant construction industry qualification.
Assessor and/or Verifier Award or Teaching/Training Qualification.
Industry experience and some training/teaching experience is essential for this role.

Dependent on experience you can earn £22-£32k per year in this role. (supplement can be added if you fit every requirement)
30 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
