We are working with a secondary school situated in the London Borough of Camden who are seeking to appoint a Head of Geography starting in September 2024 to lead their successful department. It is essential that applicants can teach KS3 to KS5 and have experience planning across all key stages.

Key responsibilities:

* To lead the development of resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies within the department.
* To lead the curriculum development within the department.
* To keep up to date with national developments in the subject area and teaching practice.
* To promote teamwork and to motivate staff to ensure effective working relations.
* To ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date information concerning the relevant curriculum area.
