?We are currently partnering with a South Wales based Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Compliance and Building Safety Lead to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Our client are proud of provide Housing across the Somerset region, and are looking for someone with recent exposure to Building Safety and Compliance within a Property discipline.
This is a full-time position with a salary band of £38,223 - £41,448 and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Leading a team within a Housing Association setting that oversee all elements of Building Safety and Compliance
* Developing and implementing policies and programmes relating to the ’Big 6’
* Line managing a team of Compliance and Building Safety officers and Co-Ordinators
* Completing performance management and 121s with internal members of staff
* Managing relationships with stakeholders and contractors
* Ensuring the organisation’s assets are compliant with all regulatory codes
* Project managing any relevant upgrades to properties, and ensuring all ’Golden Thread’ evidence is in place
* Taking the lead of residency engagement strategy relating to compliance and building safety
* Ensuring audit arrangements
* Reviewing data alongside the data and investment team
* Managing the in house ’risk register’ relating to assets
Experience required:
* Experience required in Social Housing
* Experience in Property Compliance
* An understanding of Building Safety and Golden Thread information
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
* Have or be willing to work towards a professional membership such as NEBOSH or a HNC/ HND
