Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for your next temporary role? Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Dorset-based client, a well-established and dynamic organisation, on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant include:
* Processing high volumes of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
* Managing payment runs and ensuring compliance with company policies.
* Assisting with month-end closing processes, including preparing accruals and prepayments.
* Communicating effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice queries.
* Maintaining and updating the accounts payable ledger.

The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will have:
* Proven experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
* Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
* A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
