Job Description:
We are currently recruiting Production Operators for our client based in Newport.
Our client, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of steel reinforcement, is looking for motivated individuals to join their dynamic team. With a network of strategically placed manufacturing locations, our client is well-equipped to meet the demands of any project, big or small. Their steel reinforcement is sourced within the UK with a recycled content of at least 98%, demonstrating their commitment to quality and sustainability. Role: Production Operator
Location: Newport
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time
Starting Salary: £22,959 (£11.44p/h , plus £4133 shift allowance equates to £27,092 (£12.98 p/h)
Opportunities for career progression:
- Multi-skilled Rate: £24,003 per annum (£11.50 per hour) + fixed bonus (additional £0.44 per hour) equating to £28,136 per annum (£13.48 per hour)
Working Hours:
* 4 Day Week
- Rotating Shifts: Mornings, Afternoons, and Nights
Week 1: Monday-Thursday: 6am-4pm
Week 2: Tuesday-Thursday: 10am-8pm, Friday: 7am-5pm
Week 3: Monday-Thursday: 8pm-6am

No experience is necessary as full training will be provided alongside an experienced operator. However, any previous experience in a production environment would be highly advantageous. Responsibilities:
* Operate relevant machinery, tools, and equipment in a safe manner
* Follow instructions to complete production tasks
* Set up or adjust equipment based on manufacturing specifications

* Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis
