RattrayParkin are partnered with a well established professional services business which is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and talented finance professional to join them as a Management Accountant.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic business reporting into the directors and responsible for the finance function.
Key responsibilities include:
* Month end processes
* Preparation of management account packs
* Cashflow forecasts
* Preparing budgets
* Fee earner analysis
* Payroll & Pension scheme submissions
* Ensuring accounting policies, procedures and systems are compliant with SRA
* Supervising and covering for legal cashiers
* Providing technical support on complex cashiering queries
* Production of quarterly VAT returns
* Production of year end accounts for accountants
* Corporation Tax
* Companies house filing for all partner companies
* Producing yearly analysis on salaries for potential increases
* Year end accounts preparation and submissions to HMRC & Companies House
* Assisting with compliance duties including updating financial policies
About you:
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or part-qualified
* Experience of working with all levels of stakeholder
* Must have previous experience in legal / law sector
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills
This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be on site 3 days per week with 2 work from home days.
