Educational Behaviour Support Officer
LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Educational Behaviour Support Officer for a large secondary school in Waltham. This role is perfect for someone with a background in childhood studies, psychology, or a related field who is passionate about supporting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted behaviour support to students with SEMH needs in a large secondary school environment.
* Work closely with the SENCO and other school staff to develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies.
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring their inclusion and participation in school activities.
* Use your expertise in childhood studies or psychology to understand and address the underlying causes of challenging behaviour.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support for students.
Requirements:
* A background in childhood studies, psychology, or a related discipline.
* Experience working with SEMH students in a secondary school setting.
* Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team to support students with SEN and SEMH needs.
