Bookkeeper
Telford
Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Office Based
£24,000 - £27,000
Working for a British Manufacturer you will work in a small but busy finance team. This is the perfect role for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a UK Leader.
The role
* Daily invoicing
* Bank, cash, payroll, sales, and purchase ledger & reconciliations
* Printing of daily bank statements and inputting them to CRM
* Involvement in preparation of annual financial statements
* Accurately record and categorise daily financial transactions
* Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts
* Perform general administrative tasks and support order processing
* Liaising with clients on a regular and timely basis to obtain their books and records
* Matching delivery notes to invoices
* Preparing weekly payments
* General AD hoc admin duties
* Calculating VAT payments
The candidate
* Proficient in some finance systems such as Xero, Sage Line 50, QuickBooks, and Excel
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Bookkeeping role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* AAT qualification or equivalent qualification
* Strong communication both skills written and verbal
