Our client is looking to appoint a forward thinking, proactive Warehouse Shift Manager to join a leading, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and appliance distribution business.  
The company is based in Newport Pagnell, so being local would be an average
As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will be responsible for vital part of the supply chain process, you will manage people, processes, and systems to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately and that productivity targets are met
Duties will include:
* Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
* Lead, mentor, and manager a team of staff members to achieve daily shift goals
* Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and despatch of goods
* Evaluate staff performance and provide training where necessary
* Continuously review ways to aid efficiency, add value and reduce costs, as well as delivering continuous improvement initiatives
Must:
* Have previous experience of working within a Warehouse Management position, Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Team Leader would be ideal
* Must be accustomed to giving instruction to motivate the operational workforce
* Previous WMS experience is essential
* Able to carry out team meetings

Shifts & Salary
* Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm and 2pm – 10pm (rotating shift)  
* £33,500 salary
